Used, often disapprovingly, for someone who's started acting, dressing or talking like a European rather than staying true to home.

Depuis qu'il vit à Paris, tout le monde dit qu'il s'est toubabousé.

Since he's been living in Paris, everyone says he's gone all European.

'Toubab' comes from the Mandingue word 'tubabu', meaning Westerner or white person, used across West Africa and especially in Senegal. Adding a reflexive ending turns the noun into a verb for taking on those ways, as in the Ivorian comic 'Aya de Yopougon', where a character is teased for having 'toubabousé'.
